I’m Nicholas Nelson! I’m a freelance proofreader and copy editor, amateur book reviewer and activist, and lover of words and life. In 2019, I attended the Denver Publishing Institute, which taught me all about book publishing using passionate, educated, and professional individuals from the industry. I’ve worked as a volunteer editor at Twin Cities Geek, a proofreader at E&M Consulting, Inc., assistant editor with Assay: A Journal of Nonfiction Studies alongside Karen Babine, and participated as contributing editor to both Afterwork and Djembe, two undergraduate literary journals. My work as a writer has appeared in The Allegheny Review, Polaris, Mangrove Literary Journal, and Assay: A Journal of Nonfiction Studies. More information can be found at www.nicholasnelson.info.
